Soulmask has finally received its 1.0 update and free DLC. Like the Golden Legend DLC, it explores an ancient civilisation, but this time the civilisation is based on Egypt! This DLC promises a ruined Egyptian civilization for you to explore, under the new "Solar Deity". From the inverted pyramids to the endless rivers, there's a bunch to unpack with the new DLC and 1.0 update.
This DLC offers new masks and new mask abilities, ranging from reviving the dead to allowing you to fly through the skies! The first mask you'll acquire will be one that gives you the gift of flight, allowing you to explore the vast world created for you. One of the masks, "Anubis", allows you to choose between instantly killing enemies or resurrecting them to fight for you.
One big feature of this DLC is the addition of the Solar Barge, a mobile base of operations that will be one of the primary focuses of the DLC. This will be the main progression line of the DLC, as an improved Solar Barge will allow you to access more content.
The Solar Barge seemingly does not have a limit to what can be done on it, as your entire tribe can reside on this goliath of a ship! There's even full on battles that you can take with your Barge with enemies in this DLC, which are super fun!
