s&box has officially launched on Steam. This is Facepunch's new sandbox and game creation platform, and if you ever lost weekends to Garry's Mod, you already know why this matters. It's built on Source 2, it's modern, and the whole point is play, create, and share.
The best part is the range. You can jump into community-made games, mess about in classic sandbox chaos, or go full builder mode and start shipping your own experiences. Expect everything from tiny physics toys to proper multiplayer game modes as creators get their hands on it.
Early days will be messy in a good way. Things will move fast, favourite modes will appear overnight, and a lot of the fun is finding whatever the community is obsessed with this week.
