Satisfactory 1.2 update released

Satisfactory 1.2 is now live, moving the long-awaited experimental branch changes into the main build. This is the sort of update that immediately changes how a multiplayer factory feels day to day, with better logistics, a few funny additions, and less messing about when something goes wrong halfway across the map.

If you were waiting for the stable release before starting a fresh save or moving your main world over, this is the time to do it. We covered the first experimental reveal a little while back in our Satisfactory 1.2 experimental update blog, but now the full release is here it makes a lot more sense to jump in properly.

Satisfactory 1.2 Spawn Toilets respawn feature

One of the small but genuinely useful additions is Spawn Toilets. They are exactly the kind of joke feature Satisfactory gets away with, but they also solve a real annoyance. On a larger co-op map, being able to control where you come back after a bad fall or an angry creature gets you is a lot more helpful than it sounds.

Satisfactory 1.2 truck pathing improvements

The bigger win for most groups is the vehicle pathing rework. Truck routes have always been one of those systems that looked great on paper but could become awkward once a server had been running for a while. Cleaner routing and more predictable behaviour make a huge difference when you are trying to keep a busy factory fed without babysitting every line.

Fluid trucks are just as welcome. If you have ever run long, ugly pipe routes over terrain you did not really want to build across, this gives you a much nicer option until trains or a larger rebuild take over. It is not the flashiest part of the update, but it is exactly the sort of change that makes an established world easier to keep organised.

Satisfactory 1.2 fluid trucks and liquid transport

For dedicated servers, 1.2 feels like a good point to start fresh with friends or bring an older factory back online. When an update improves respawns, transport, and general world flow all at once, you notice it quickly on multiplayer. Less downtime, fewer silly route problems, and less wasted time travelling back to where you were working is always a good thing.

If you want to get moving on the update today, check out our Satisfactory server hosting. Our setup is straightforward, and once the server is live you have full control over saves, settings, and the day-to-day management side without having to wrestle with it.
