The long awaited 1.0 of Necesse has been released, and in this blog we'll be exploring some of the new things added; spoiler free! In case you were on the fence, the game is going for a whopping 50% off, whilst also having a bundle with Palworld! Buy Necesse on Steam.
If you're an old player, you can take a breather in knowing that old characters and worlds should carry over just fine to 1.0. If you were at the endgame before last playing, you can jump right in to some of the revamped action! Some of the most notable changes are a full rebalance of the game from start to finish progression wise. You may be able to carry over old data, but you may want to consider starting fresh for a new experience!
On top of that, worlds are now infinite and biomes should now blend smoothly! This also allows for more than one settlement on the map at once, in case your friends wish to play on their own! NPCs should behave more naturally, and should have more interactions when not busy with other tasks.
As for the gameplay and content, the final boss has finally been added to the game! Be prepared, as the max tiers and new perks should make you aware it will take quite a bit of effort to beat them! You'll be able to take advantage of new weapons and armours added in 1.0, alongside the rebalanced sets to take down the final boss and finish the game!
The game has received a sound design overhaul as well, almost 300 new sounds being added to the game. The new sounds are amazing so far, making the game much more satisfying to play. On top of the graphical update later last year, the game now really sticks out as its own game! 1.0 isn't it for Necesse, as the developers have said in a FAQ that they plan on adding more cool things, and are intending on releasing a roadmap soon.
