All the Mons Modpack Overview

All the Mons modpack for Minecraft

In today's blog, we'll be exploring the expected modpack from the All the Mods team, All the Mons! This modpack was teased for months, promising a full All the Mods 10 experience blended with Cobblemon, a mod that aims to bring Pokemon into Minecraft. While the pack is still in an early state, we're aiming to give our full thoughts on it regardless.

Some big differences between this pack and All the Mods 10 are the complete removal of Modern Industrialization, meaning that a lot of resources required for the ATM Star cannot be automated. Additionally, the ATM Star cannot be duplicated using its own shards, so you will need to use all the component resources to make multiple copies of it.

This takes away from the core ATM10 endgame experience significantly, but it does not affect the Cobblemon side of the pack much. The ATM Star now requires two Master Balls from Cobblemon to craft it, which thankfully can be made rather than found. While they are expensive, they'll be relatively inexpensive for anyone already aiming to make the ATM Star.

Cobblemon content in All the Mons

The Cobblemon experience, while not amazing in this early state, is still playable. The pack enforces a level cap until you beat certain trainers, but in our playthrough we removed it as the speed at which you increase your level cap is painstakingly slow. We had also installed a datapack to allow every legendary to spawn, which is not included with the All the Mons modpack despite the datapack in question being called AllTheMons. If you're interested in increasing the number of legendary spawns as well, you can find the datapack on Modrinth.

Custom trainers and gyms

There are a few custom trainers, our personal favourite being the legendary direwolf20. Gyms will also spawn, though they can appear quite far out. You'll be able to find mini structures with singular fights, which may include said custom trainers. The system for fighting paths of trainers is quite complex, but we think it could become very rewarding in the future.

While this pack is still in development, we highly recommend you check it out if you have a mix of friends who love tech mods and the Cobblemon experience. We offer this modpack in our 1-click modpack installer, so if this interests you at all, then buy a server with us and try it out! Check out our Minecraft Server Hosting plans.

Our service is straightforward, and it only takes a few clicks once your server is purchased to get your server up and running! If you don't like some mods or settings, you have full control over changing or removing them as you please, or even changing the modpack after purchase!
