Astroneer: Glitchwalkers DLC Server Hosting - Now Available

First launched in early access in 2016, Astroneer has soared from strength to strength. Developer System Era Softworks has just released its first expansion: The Glitchwalkers DLC.

If you noticed some strange textures and jittery visuals in the trailer, worry not. This time, these are actually features and not bugs. To ensure you’re getting the best out of your games, be sure to take a look at our Astroneer server hosting.

Houston, We Have a Problem.

Glitchwalkers sees players stepping through a portal onto the all-new Aeoluz: Astroneer’s most complex and challenging planet yet. This sprawling, unruly world boasts stunning biomes, cavernous canyons, stratospheric mountains, and a dynamic environment shaped by an enigmatic adversary named Bl!tz, who has rewritten the very code of survival.

Hell-bent on retaining their power and damning the Astroneer program; the devious drifter deploys deadly, data-driven defences at any Astroneer who strays too close. You must prepare accordingly. Thankfully, you have some new tools and tricks up your sleeve.

Live Long and Prosper

Though your catalog was reset in the portal, a new tech tree and cutting-edge modules provide unique ways to tackle the terrain. Bl!tz has devised digital tempests in the form of Glitched Storms, so be quick or suffer suffocation. In a very cool move, System Era Softworks has included storms in the base game, too, so there’s something here for everyone.

Portal to..?

For $9.99, this expansion offers oodles of quirky charm. To access the Glitchwalkers DLC, players must have completed the missions “A Core Concept” and “Is This Thing On?”. Once these are complete, a shiny new main menu will alert you to the opening of the Aeoluz portal, beyond which tantalising treasures and terrain await!
