The second major update for Abiotic Factor is here, expanding again on the main story and adding a whole new region for you to explore.
The new area ‘The Reactors' has been added to the game as well as a new faction known as ‘The Gatekeepers'.
As well as this the new update comes with a whole host of new weaponry to keep things interesting. Harpoon Spear, ‘Exor' weaponry, high explosives, redaction grenade and a big improvement to lasers also make this update well worth checking out.
Here is a list of some of the new items added:
- Spawn Inhibitors, Keep certain enemies at bay when powered
- Treasure chests, You can open using keys you find
- Long Jump Pack, Lets you leap over large gaps and manoeuvre forwards, backwards and sideways.
- Pocket Dimension Pack, A dimensional backpack with tonnes of storage.
- Construction Gauntlet, New glorified screwdriver with the power of scientific engineering.
A new encroachment has also been added into the game in the Old Mines. If you are past that area, you can still head back there to uncover it.
They have also updated to the new online subsystem that improves the way you can connect to your server. The new server browser is a lot smoother and more responsive to use, and you can now connect directly using an IP address.
