Do you ever wonder what scientists do in their secret underground labs? Wonder no more with the release of Abiotic Factor into early access! This game lets you join GATE, a group of the world's the most talented scientists. They conduct research covering every field of science and even delve into realms beyond our understanding.
We're excited to have released our Abiotic Factor server hosting, allowing you and five others (maximum of six players per server) to jump into the cosmic battle zone that is also your characters' workplace!
You start by having a peaceful first day at work, sipping your coffee and doing the standard scientific testing you've been hired to do. Then a catastrophic containment breach happens, and now you are in a cosmic battle zone with anomalous entities and enemies from other dimensions invading via portals. If that doesn't sound tricky to navigate, you've also got an arcane military sect called The Order, targeting GATE personal and entities indiscriminately, seizing artefacts to put an end to the chaos.
As you defeat enemies, you'll also need somewhere to sleep, building up a defensive fortress with materials you find around the empty labs, stealing as much company property as required. You can craft traps, weapons, armour, and other useful items to aid with your escape of the facility – or try to live there as long as you can.
If you're ready to leave, you can grab one of the various modes of transport, from handcarts and forklifts to SUVs and teleporters, you've got quite the pick of ways to get around. While the underground facility in Abiotic Factor is massive, there is a lot to do above ground and through the many portals to worlds beyond.
