Sunkenland is a waterworld survival game where the old world is mostly underwater and the useful bits are often at the bottom of it. The loop is part diving trip, part base builder and part pirate problem that keeps turning up at the worst possible time.

A normal session can start with a simple supply run. Head out across the water, dive into ruins, pull scrap and materials from flooded buildings, then get back before food, oxygen or enemies turn it into a bad idea. Better equipment makes those trips deeper and more worthwhile.

The base is the other half of it. Platforms, islands, ships and odd little water forts can become somewhere to craft, farm, store gear and recover between trips. Once the group has put time into it, the base stops being a box with workbenches and starts becoming the thing everyone is trying to protect.

Sunkenland has a nice mix of things pulling players away from safety. There are friendly atolls to trade with, hostile bases to raid, pirates and mutants to fight, boats and vehicles to use, and new locations or quest content arriving as the game keeps moving through Early Access.

A hosted Sunkenland server fits the crew setup nicely. Someone can gather food, another can sort crafting, someone can dive for blueprints and someone else can repair the base after the latest terrible decision. The save stays online with panel controls, file access and backups, so the group can keep coming back to the same waterlogged mess instead of relying on one home-hosted session.
