What is Counter-Strike 2?
Counter-Strike 2 is the next chapter of Counter-Strike, built on Source 2 and replacing CS:GO as the current version of the game. It keeps the same competitive core, with tight rounds, team economy, utility, aim and map control still deciding most matches.
The update brought revamped maps, improved visuals and audio, dynamic smoke grenades, Premier ratings, leaderboards and networking changes built around subtick gameplay. It is still Counter-Strike at heart, just running on the newer foundation.
A Counter-Strike 2 server gives your team or community somewhere consistent for practice, private matches, warmups, custom rotations and regular game nights, with the setup controlled through our panel rather than public matchmaking.
