Generating a Terraria world

Method 1:

  1. Login to your control panel
  2. Enter your configuration editor, click configuration editor next to serverconfig.txt
  3. Ensure the auto create check box is checked
  4. Set the world name to something different
  5. Under the auto create settings, choose a difficulty and world size
  6. Save and apply
  7. Restart your server

 

 

 

Method 2:

  1. Login to your control panel.
  2. Enter your configuration editor, click text editor next to serverconfig.txt
  3. Change the line ‘world=' line. EXAMPLE: Replace world1.wld with world2.wld
  4. Save and apply.
  5. Restart your server.

 

 

 

Note: You can also generate a new world by deleting the current one and enabling auto create.
